Rotary's Local Service & Giving
Rotary Club of Morgan Hill, a service organization
of Rotary International, has served the Morgan Hill community for
more than 55 years. The Club's local service focuses on community,
youth and seniors. In addition to numerous service projects, last
year's local philanthropic giving exceeded $50,000.
Club Giving and Volunteerism
The Club meets community needs that might
otherwise go unmet, both in terms of money and physical labor. The
Club gives grants to a wide range of local organizations and scholarships
for youth. It also sponsors its own events, like the annual Harvey
Barrett Senior Dinner.
Rotarians are often quietly in the background, decorating
the downtown for the holidays, landscaping the Morgan Hill House
& Museum and providing the food and cooking for other volunteers
at various community events.

Major Gifts
Rotary accepts major gifts and wills into
its Endowment, a tax-deductible, non-profit organization administered
under the stewardship of local Rotarians. Bequests from community
members fund such programs as scholarships for local students.
